Haverhill at Hunters Run B show
This was Macs first rated two day show and he was amazing!!!!! I can't believe how far this horse has come and I am so proud of him. Well yes I will admit that we placed pretty low but that honestly did not matter at all for me considering Mac was going around the courses perfect and as soon as I start sitting straight he is going to be able to do lead changes and we will win. I can't wait because he is beyond amazing and I am so lucking to have found this horse. So, just for the record on Saturday we won a third in the warm up after Absalute Best and Magic In The Wind which is great. Then for our Children's Hunter over fences round we got third out of three but he was great. Our Limit Equitation round was rough but somehow my riding pulled through to place us 6th out of 8 which is alot higher then expected. The Limit eq on the flat we picked up the wrong lead and I have no idea why but that threw us out of the placing which was sad considering my riding usually excelles and Mac's performance was great. Sunday was more rough but Mac was a little frazzeled after having to school over the jumper jumps that morning. Both our Children's Hunter over fences' courses were nice except for a green refusal in the second course but we ended up placing third in both. The Children's hunter under saddle was beyond rough but that had alot to do with the fact that Mac was freaking out right before the class because he had been left alone in the barn but we placed fifth and overall it was a great show considering all we wanted was to give him a great experience.

Schooling :/
Well schooling tonight was..... interesting. Mac was not sure that he loved the ring, specifically the door, and so as we were "calmly" troting by he decided to spaz out and the next thing you know i am on the ground. Yeah that was just GREAT :/ Well then after that i put in his ear pom pom's and he was alot better. He ended up schooling well today but ive still got to be out to the show and ready to jump at 6:45 before the show so I am off to bed and will be dreaming of the success I hope to have tommorow.
My First Post?
Ok well I put this together for a class assignment and so have never posted on it, but I think that I am going to start recording my experiences with my new horse Mac here. Mac is a dark bay thourobred who I bought in the fall after selling my wonderful pony who I had owned for 5 years before that. So far Mac and I have gone through a long trial together after I learned that he would absaloutly not go in my Ovation sadle. Then we had to start having caeropractic work done on him. He is finally getting better and we will be competeing in our first B rated MHJA show this weekend so I am extremly excited to see how he does!
